And to celebrate that session in an artistic way, we have arranged this beautiful program of Kathak dancing for you. Now, Kathak word, as you know, comes from the word ‘Katha’, Katha means the story. It means the story. [Shri Mataji says something in Hindi, and man bows to her feet] May God bless you [followed by namaskar] And the story is to be told. This is a very ancient type of dancing, which was practised in the northern part of India. And then part of it also went to the south. And they used it in a different way. Now, Kathak is so ancient and so traditional that it has gone various changes and various aspects have been expressed in this style of dancing. To begin with, it was originally done to express the stories about the Gods and Goddesses. And their different way of dealing with human beings. Then gradually it became subtler and subtler. Then they started performing the dances of the Parabramha Shakti and all those things. Later on, when the Muslims came to North India, they introduced their delicate style to this style of dancing. It is very heartening to see so many of you assembled here to do the Guru Puja. To worship your Guru in person regarded as the highest blessing. But in my case, it’s a very different combination that I am your Mother and your Guru. So, you can understand how Shri Ganesha worshipped his Mother. You all are created in the same image of Shri Ganesha who worshipped his Mother and then He became the Adi Guru, the first Guru. He is the primordial essence of mastery. Only the Mother can make the child a master. And the motherhood in any Guru – whether male or female – can only make the disciple a Guru. So, first, you have to become the prophets and develop that motherhood within yourself, then you can make others also prophets.  Now, to become a Guru, what do we have to do after our Realisation? Guru word means gravity. Gravity means a person who is grave, who is deep, who is magnetic. Now as you have learnt in Sahaja Yoga that realisation takes place in complete effortlessness. So normally a Guru tries to make his disciples effortless, which is called as prayatna shaytilya – means ‘relax your efforts’. Nobody has told so far exactly where it lies. You must have realized from Armour’s lecture that he is Swiss, and he has become such an expert on Kundalini Yoga. There are many young people, very young, who come to Sahaja Yoga, and within a month, they can speak on truth. It is the actualization of the truth that is important. It is the becoming that is important. It is not reading or knowing it from outside, but becoming one with the truth. Whatever we can see outside, is outside us, but when we become that it acts. It shows its power. But so far in the human endeavor, there is nothing that can really give analogy of actualization. For example, somebody becomes the president, still he can lose his job. He may manifest his powers which are bestowed upon him, but he may be wrong. He may make mistakes. He may do exactly what he is not supposed to do. He would not know absolute truth. But when you become the spirit, actualization takes place. Yesterday we saw the general aspect of Sahaja Yoga and how these modern times are connected to the future and to the past. Because if it is a living process of evolution then it is a continuous process intermittent with transformations. But we human beings believe that whatever we achieve through our mental projection is the transformation. For example, when we started to establish our kingdoms, we thought that monarchy will solve the problem and we adhered to it very much. Later on, we thought it’s better to have democracy, or some people thought we should have communism. Some people thought that Christianity would work out. Others thought that Islam might work out. Some thought it was Buddhism that is going to help us and some thought it is some other religion will help us, like Jainism or Zen. Now, if you really see all these human endeavors from a detached mind, you will find that there is something missing in them. There are psychologists who said that it is the sex energy which is important and we should not be conditioned. So, they used their ego to express themselves without any conditioning. Everything has got a history and a future that is going to follow. Today we are here at this moment and we have to look at every problem in relation to this time. The understanding of consciousness has to be understood in all its aspect, and at this period of complete integration it is easy to relate it to every movement of our mind. The evolutionary process has created a human consciousness within us, and this human consciousness is a product of a living process, and a living process is to be understood in its own nature. I was very happy to see the picture of these trees on these flags, because they denote or express the living process. To understand the living process we can look at the trees. A seed sprouts into a plant by a living process. If we want to do it, we cannot do it. The leaves burst out into flowers later, and the flowers become the fruits because of the living force that is acting in it. We human beings cannot do anything like that. Shri Krishna is the ultimate of the fatherhood that I described you before, who came on this Earth and illustrated the ultimate of that. So, on this Earth, the highest fatherhood is Shri Krishna’s awareness. But in the Kingdom of God, we can say in the Heavens, or even above everything else, resides Sadashiva who does not take incarnations. He is one of the aspects, Shri Krishna is one of the aspects of Sadashiva which is the Father. And the Adi Shakti or the Holy Ghost is the other aspect of Sadashiva which is His power. So, when Shri Krishna incarnated on this Earth, an aspect of this Adi Shakti came on this Earth as Radha. She is the same who came as the Mother of Christ, and She gave the name of Christ as the surname of Shri Krishna, as if it is Krishna’s name, from Krishna. Recently, to My surprise, I discovered that in England they have something called “chequebook journalism”.  Sahaja Yogi (to Swiss translator): It means that the journalist – I don’t know if it’s true – that there is payment made to journalists for reporting according to what they personally want.  Shri Mataji: That’s the phrase they use, chequebook journalism.  Swiss translator (to Shri Mataji): He (a man speaking French) asks – in Geneva it is the first time that he saw such a publicity for a personality like You. I would like to beg your pardon for being late but I have a double shift: I have to works there also, finish that work, come here and that’s how sometimes, going from one to another, it takes some more time. I’m sorry for that. As I said that this is a living force within us and the living happening of the living God. As you know that living things do not have a precise time. For example, if somebody says, “Mother, I come to you tomorrow, I’ll see you there. Will you give me Realization?” I can only say, “I will try. But I can’t promise.” Moreover, I cannot say how much it will take. It is true it’s blossom time and we have many people who are just ready to become the Spirit. Still, it is not easy to say how and when all of these flowers will be completely realized. To get Realization is not so difficult because you are just ready for it. But to establish it, it is sort of difficult because we have lots of problems within ourselves, in our chakras, our subtle centres. Some are fanatics, some don’t believe in God; some are very ego-orientated, dry people and some are extremely emotional, sensitive and all the time sad. Because our Spirit is the source of the white cells. Or we can say, is the connection between human attention and the Divine Power. For the truth to an ant is different from the truth to a human being! The way your consciousness expands, the truth reveals itself to you. It is beautiful thing to do, it is not an easy one to introduce Sahajayoga. It is not an easy one because there are many, many propositions in the sale of spirituality, which are running in the market, hence Switzerland is a very unfortunate country, very unfortunate, because Switzerland is rich country. Being a rich country all the people who have been attracted by money had come down here. We have gone with Sahaja Yoga in countries like Portugal and Spain and there we have noticed that many hundreds of people got their self-realisation without any problem. I am also very much thankful to Kalbermatten family, especially Gregoire and his brother, particularly Arneau who insisted that I must come to Zurich and talk about Sahaja Yoga. We are really blessed by nature today. I went and saw your beautiful lake and the beautiful scenes in the sunshine, the way everybody was bathing and enjoying. Today, I am going to speak to you about something very subtle within you. Many German writers have written about the power, which sleeps within us to give us Self-realization, known as Kundalini. Unfortunately, none of them had the experience of Self-realization. So, the description falls very much short of the reality. If you have read any one of these books, you will think that Kundalini awakening is the most difficult thing. When we told our grandmother, that human beings have landed on the Moon, she could not believe it. As we have grown outside so much, also there has been an inner growth within us.
