After, all it’s the subject of the Absolute Knowledge. And, if I suddenly start-off, then, it will be difficult for you to follow it. Though, through rationality, you can not understand it, it is not a subject which can be discussed or if you think by discussing or talking about it, you will reach somewhere then you are suddenly mistaken. That’s how people have been doing it, all the time, they have been talking, talking, talking, talking. And, this talking has lead you nowhere. For example, one can give a big surmon, as how you should be? Or, how I should be? And may go on and on like that from generations to generations. And, people in search of Truth, do take to it easily, because they are searching whatever they get, they say, “all right. let’s have it”. And, there has been curricular force which has been guiding them throughout in their search, of which they may not be aware of. And, that’s why, they have been denying one after another. No need to take any special pose, sit completely relaxed, in Sahaja aasan (posture), with complete simplicity in which you have no pressure on yourself. You do not have to move your head up or down, nothing. No need to get any special expression on your face. You develop a hypertension, you become very agitated, you start dancing and doing all kinds of things.  These things can happen – that you may start dancing, jumping, shouting, doing all kinds of things, getting into licentiousness, permissiveness. Because that’s how you are let loose. The control on your being of the wisdom is lost, and then you just get into it. And you don’t feel the pinch of your conscience. The pinch of the conscience is no more. You just go arbitrary and you just shoot off. It can happen to people even without feeling this. Even without feeling this some people can get into that kind of a mood. That’s how they become alcoholic and they become all these things where they have no control. (Break in recording.) …eventually he was absolutely on [his] deathbed because he got cirrhosis of the liver and he was going to die. Slowly the number of Sahaja Yogis is going to increase. There is no doubt. The truth always establishes itself slowly. Truth takes time to get established [within ourselves]. Some people came in Sahaja Yoga and took 8 to 9 months to get their realization. To achieve the truth, we should have depth inside us and the most important thing is we have to be pure inside. If we have been to many gurus, our chitta [attention] becomes impure. Secondly, when we are living in today’s society, due to many distractions outside, our chitta [attention] is always directed outwards [towards the physical world]. We get impressed by all these distractions and also we have been brainwashed by society that these things are important for us. Hence, we put our attention to the things which are not at all important and neglect those which are necessary. Therefore, we go on collecting the things which are useless for us which we call ‘junk’ in English. So, our mind becomes heavy with all the ‘junk’ it collects inside. Birthday Puja. Mumbai, Maharashtra (India). 21 March 1979. My heart is overwhelmed. Till date, this birthday has been regularly celebrated in Bombay [former name for Mumbai]. Had to work really hard in Bombay; had to work the most, here. People often ask me, “Mother, why do you need to work so much in Bombay?” Initially, I stayed here, and, then I felt that there is so much work that can be done in Bombay. However, some shadows are cast over Bombay. Now in Delhi, even less work amounts to a lot more. Lot of work has been done in villages too. Undoubtedly, thousands have got their realization. A lot of work has been done, even in a city like London. But, people of Bombay have an ominous shadow cast upon them. I think they are too indulged in materialism. Strangely, we have worked the most in Bombay and yet have the least number of Sahaja Yogis here. Can’t find a reason for this. Often, I contemplate, especially when people question me, “Mother, why do you devote so much time in Bombay? Why is Bombay so special?”, although I am quite wary of cities. Because in cities, you have money, and, there are already enough conmen who ready to rob you. Since you have money, you prefer to go to these conmen. You run behind these circus owners. No scripture has vividly described anything about Sahasrara, not because people would not have known about it, but because, till then the Sahasrara had not been fully opened, so no one wrote anything about it. Sahasrara means – like this (flower) bud, if we consider our brain to be a lotus flower, then inside it, layer by layer, like these petals, each different level has been made, and these layers are formed from grey matter and white matter. In the center, if you open and see, inside that you will see the core (gabha – गाभा) and thousands of small, small pollen, (paraga – पराग) inside that.Similarly, our brain is made up of fat, and it has layers. If you take a cross-section of the brain and study it, you will be surprised that inside, you will see each layer, they look exactly like the petals of a lotus flower. Because doctors had no relation with poetry, they don’t think of such a comparison. Doctors are mostly enemies of poetry, so they can’t see this thing. Until then they won’t get Realization. But we cannot even have a simple attitude. Yesterday, I told you that I will be telling you about ‘sat-chit-ananda’, which is the same as Shri Shiva, and who resides in our heart. But today, I am thinking that I should tell you that, in the end, after I finish talking about all the chakras. That will be good. Although you should keep your attention on the heart from beginning to end. Just by putting your attention there, all chakras get healed by themselves. Above the three parts of the heart chakra, is a very important chakra, it is called Vishuddhi Chakra. The Vishuddhi Chakra is right behind our throat area. Now you cannot say that it is exactly behind the throat area as it is a very subtle thing. It is likely to be a little up or down in the throat area. Translation from Hindi: The efforts put in by the people of Delhi are very commendable, because as you know, in Sahaja Yoga, we have no membership, no rules, no regulations, nor do we keep any register, and under such conditions, some people get so involved and work so hard and think such that there should be one place where all can come. Currently, programmes are being conducted in their homes. So, they told me. I said, “Ok, see if you can find a place, it should be alright, whatever takes place with the knowledge of all should be good.” But, according to my observation, blessings of God Almighty are in abundance for the people of Delhi. Because it is very surprising to see the way these people have worked, and in other places, after working hard also, nothing could happen. All this is your own. The place has been made for you, you will only stay there, and you only will use it and make it useful. But it is important that there should be one nucleus, one place where Shri Ganeshji should be installed. It is essential to have a place like this. Because, each place has its own vibrations. That’s what I’m trying to tell you.In Sahaja Yoga, it is a spontaneous thing, you don’t have to do anything at all. It is a spontaneous process. The Kundalini itself rises and tells the person who’s giving you Realisation that this is the problem with the gentleman. So, the gentleman who is seeking his ‘sadaka’ [accomplishment] feels nothing about it but the other fellow, the one who is giving Realisation feels. So, he can manoeuvre because he’s a Realised soul, the vibrations are flowing, he can manoeuvre, he can give a bandhan, he can give nourishment to that chakra and, can make that chakra all right and raise the Kundalini higher. It is the one who is Realised can do it. After Realisation, now many people have taught that you much concentrate here [Agnya Chakra]. It’s a wrong idea. Talk about Gandhi. Delhi, India. 11 March 1979. I want to first tell you about My meeting and why Gandhi is so important. Perhaps you have never realized what a tremendous instrument Gandhiji was. At the age of seven years he just picked Me up from My family and I stayed with him very, very close, extremely close, and he used to call Me as Nepali. That was My name. And everybody knew Me by that name. After 40 years, or say 45 years or so, suddenly I met … in the wedding of his own son. And I went to him. I saw immediately he recognized Me. He said, “What, Nepali, how are you here?” And just tears started rolling down My eyes. That was Gandhiji. He was a tremendous hard master also and I always used to say that, “You can be hard but how can you be hard with all these people?” He would make us get up at 4 o’clock. It was very easy for Me to get up at four because you see, My body had no habits. I can get up any time and sleep any time. Whether you realize its significance or not, It exists. And the way He has created you all, that it also a specialty. I told you in the morning how, in a designated time-frame, human being was created from a miniscule amoeba. Now that a human has been created, what’s the way forward? Is there anything substantial for him on the cards or will he keep loitering around? So, I told you that God has given you the luxury of freedom: choose the Divine or the Devil, it’s your choice. Lecture given at Gandhi Bhawan, Delhi University (India), on 10 March 1979. In this lecture I should talk about the creation. I would switch on from the time, when we were just amoebae. Before that, what happened and how we were created, this universe was created, I’ll tell you tomorrow morning.  It is not difficult to find out how this universe is organized.  Every scientist who is open minded can see for himself that this universe is a beautiful cosmos, is very well organized and has run very smoothly and can also deduce that the creation of this universe, this particular universe has led to the creation of this Mother Earth. Five million years back, about, this Mother Earth in gaseous form seceded and was cooled down.  How was it cooled down, no–one knows.  But if it was cooled down, why is it not that cool as the Sun is?  Because in the science, nobody thinks as to ‘How?’   They just accept as it is.  They are not supposed to know, or they cannot find out because they have limitations. [First 4:53 minutes conversations with new seekers are not translated] [4:54] Shri Krishna has said in our Gita, “Yoga Kshemam Vahamyaham”. This means, “Yoga first.” He could say “Kshem” first but he said “Yoga” first and then “Kshem”. “Kshem” means your wellbeing, your Lakshmi Tatva [element]. But first “Yoga” should take place. Until Yoga [union] happens, the divine has no business with you. First, you should experience Yoga i.e. union with Almighty, Atma [Spirit] should awaken within you. When the Spirit is awakened within you, then you enter into the domain of Almighty in reality. Otherwise, just like a crammer [who keeps mugging things], everything remains superficial. Until you know your inner Self, until you have recognition of Self, you do not enter the domain of Almighty. That’s why you are not authorised to get what Almighty has said. And as I told you this morning, those who try to do so, commit a grave sin. Although they can earn some money out of it, the sins they amass can become the cause of grave misfortune. Similarly Mr. Dhumal from Rahuri who was giving lecture before us, he has also created a revolution in the villages. There are quite a few Sahaja Yogis who have come along with him from Rahuri. And each one of them is a beautiful Sahaja yogi, chiseled like a diamond.  To understand how knowledgeable they are and how deep their knowledge of the Divine principle is, one must have discussion with them.  Sahaja Yoga means Sahaja, ‘Saha’  means with us and ‘Ja’ means born with. Sahaja Yoga is Maha Yoga (great Yoga). It is born with us.  Just position your hands like this. If you wish to activate Kundalini, then keep your hands like this. Simple. Remove your caps. Also remove black threads if you are wearing them. If you are wearing religious beads in the neck, better to remove them because it obstructs, Kundalini stop there. The word ‘hitguja’ in Marathi language is so beautiful as it means whatever is beneficial for you or your atma is to be shared. And as it used to be said in early days ‘Satyam Vadet Priyam Vadet’ (Speak truth, speak what is liked). How to blend these two? If you speak the truth it is not liked and if you wish to speak what is liked, it may not necessarily be true. If you want to blend these, it is a difficult task. Lord Shri Krishna found a solution to this and said, “Satyam Vadet, Hitam Vadet and Priyam Vadet” means that which is beneficial for the atma, ‘Hita’ means atma’s contentment. Even if it is unpleasant, at the end it becomes pleasant and it is the truth. Imagine if tomorrow someone comes to Mr. Rajwade and he asks if some specific person is hiding here (taken refuge)?
