We Are Here For Our Ascent, Pune You have come for your ascent, for a pilgrimage, and certain things have to be borne in mind — that we have to see that our thinking has to go down first. I don’t mind suffering, but my suffering doesn’t help you much. So I have to request you not to say, “I thought.” Then I’ve seen people go on lingering about. There’s no movement, very lethargic movement, very slow movement, as if they have taken some sort of an opium or some sort of a drug. You should see, all the Indians are alert, especially in Maharashtra. They’re very alert people. And the alertness you have to achieve — not to just roam about here, roam about there, stand there. Everybody has to go and call. We are doing no work here at all. They are doing all the work. I’m sorry I have to say that. They are the ones who are working out the thing. We have just to move from places to places. But there also the movement is so slow sometimes that it is impossible how to get round you, like small children to call this one, call that one for anything. And stay here have been wonderful.  We have made the largest number of people and you have to look after the people who are going to come here now.  We have to be very cautious and careful with the new people because they don’t know about Sahaj Yog, they don’t know about the kingdom of god, so don’t have to show off in any way. Try to be kind and nice to them and tell them everything.  In such a manner, as if you’re trying to be very helpful to them.  Don’t get angry with them, don’t shout at them. So very big responsibility, I think, to. Get the new people. In proper shape. It’s a knack I think. It has to be a nack if you find somebody rather difficult or someone, then you ask somebody else to deal with that, go on on shifting such a person, so that person gets fed up and will go away if somebody is asking too many questions or anything. Also, you try this thing like that, you see, don’t go on arguing, don’t argue with anyone. Too much arguments will not bring anything, you know in Sahaja Yoga cannot be argued on some extent is all right, but too much. It should not be argued. Now. Then you wont feel the strain, because going back I know what it is to travel. So how was the experience here were you happy— and all the married couples are they happy, you look so nice and so beautiful, now i’ve given quite a big lecture this morning I think and I didn’t talk much about it, but we have to develop personality that’s important. How creative he is. See his creativity is really more interesting, he is creating experiences out of it, beautiful things, the way he is touching little, little notes and pulling it down, really it’s tremendous, I must say. They are all great artists and all the time I am thinking of Ravindranath Tagore. What his soul must be feeling so happy, that is described one day and that’s happening today with all these three Bengal people coming here really, my hats off to Bengalis and to Bengal, I really tell you. I am so indebted to them, so indebted to them, really, such a great thing, such great masters are coming out and they are from Nagpur also, that’s something surprising for me. [Clapping..]Tomorrow is a great day, in my life also, that it’s our republic day, we got our independence on the 15th of August, but we celebrate 26th as the republic day and as you know that my father, my mother, all my family sacrificed everything that they had to achieve this freedom. So, it is such a great thing to see this dream come true that without getting your freedom, your political freedom, you cannot ask for your spiritual freedom. Simultaneously at that time He was doing Sahaja Yoga with the gopa and the gopis in the way it was just a play, a leela. “Ra Dha. “Ra” is energy and “dha” means the one who has sustained it. She’s the sustainer of that energy. Radha. And She would go and have a bath in the river Yamuna and the ladies would go and fill up their pitchers with that water, vibrated water, and He used to break that pitcher, at the back, from the back with stones, little stones, and make a hole in it just like we make a hole here, He used to make a hole in the pitcher and that vibrated water used to flow down on the back of the gopis to give them awakening. But that was not the time to tell them about Sahaja Yoga, there was no way of getting people around and giving them lectures and things like this so He was playing about. Austria is a bridge between the left and the right or we can say that now all the Western Europe is becoming “leftish” because of the influence of alcohol and frustration from aggression and they’ve done their level best, now they are fed up with themselves. It’s a sort of, they have given up. And on other side is the German side, you can say the Russian side, those who are still trying to progress and develop and conquer and fight. So Europe is divided unfortunately into two types of people now. The left-sided people are committing suicide and the right-sided people are still busy with aggressiveness and aggressive ideas. So, first the God almighty, the father, then the Spirit in the heart, and then now, the Kundalini.So, after you become one with the Spirit, you become the Spirit. And the powers that the Spirit had before start manifesting in you. So, this is at this consciousness, that we have to rise. So, with Mataji’s permission, I will just say a few more words while people are still coming into the hall so that when She speaks that can be full attention. Because this is a subject where we have to really give our attention fully and not be distracted by what’s going on in the next seat or behind us. What has to happen is that our attention should go inside. It’s not an easy thing for people who are used to thinking, to stop thinking, and just watch what’s going on. Because we are so identified with our thoughts, we don’t realize that they’re not reality and they’re actually preventing us from experiencing reality which is absolutely the present time. So, please realize that if you have come here to get something, it’s something personal to you by which your relationship to others is very much purified and improved but which is for you and it’s for them also, but you don’t worry about them. Now one thing which will help this experience to take place, this happening to work out, is if you don’t mind to take out take off your shoes and just rest your stocking feet on the floor. I am so filled with gratitude, that I have no words to express the bounties and the beauties of the divine, we have struggled so much to get a piece of land and so far we have not  been successful, though our president has granted that [UNCLEAR]. You see, some people are like that: self-certificated; again I call them. “Oh, I’m enjoying myself, I have no problems, you see, why should you worry?” This is all nonsense, absolute nonsense it is. It is that you are enjoying your ego then. But to enjoy yourself means you are enjoying everyone and everybody’s enjoying you; everybody likes you. You are not extreme neither too ritualistic. You are so flexible. You are adjustable. That’s like water, whatever you mix it with, it takes the colour. However you put it, it washes. If it appears in the eyes it makes you look beautiful. Unknown Talk related to Guru Puja So now, there are two very nice tapes we have got, the first one is called as ‘Bandagi’ and which are lyrics composed by my brother, we call him Babamama, but his name is Hemendra Kumar. I have given him a name called ‘Belos’, meaning ‘the pure’, he has composed all these poems here and Mr. Prabhakar Dhakre, who we call as Guruji has, is the one who has done all the musical part of it and the musicians are here Suresh Wardkar, Uttara Kelkar, Chaya, Sarita Bhave and Sanjay Talwar. I think you have heard it but this was not with so many of these so now we have got them and for which the money is to be collected there. Philip, you are doing the whole selling?  Wolfgang is selling it. [Gopa] saying please take me across this ocean of  illusion, this [pandurangara] is requesting Shri Krishna – Panduranga is Shri Krishna in Maharashtra is called as [unclear] Also there’s a big story about it but I’ll tell you later on. So he says he is requesting please take me across and this is what I wanted.. But the way he sang it  with such devotion, sincerity and honesty. It’s really just stirred up all the vibrations I know and you are feeling all that. You see we Maharashtrans are very lucky people, that we had such saints who were realised souls. They knew about chaitanya. They knew about vibrations. They knew about the higher life and all the time whatever they have sung is the hope that everybody will get realisation, or they have described that state of realisation.
