Public Program Day 2, Paris (France), 8 July 1988. I bow to all the seekers of truth. As I told you yesterday that truth is truth, and cannot be changed, or cannot be molded and cannot be organized. And if we are the seekers of truth, we have to keep our minds open about it. Absolute truth you can only find after Self Realization. Because the self itself, your Spirit itself is the embodiment of truth. When you achieve your Realization as you did yesterday so many of you, you felt a cool breeze in your hand, and you felt the cool breeze all over. This is the subtle cool breeze or the subtle All-pervading power of Divine love. It’s described in all the religions. But you have to establish yourself in your state of Self Realization, so that you can feel it all the time. Also you should know, what all this fingertips when they emit a kind of a sensation maybe burning, maybe cool, maybe frozen, what does that mean. So the first process that starts in you of the awakening of the Kundalini gives you the feeling of the All-pervading power and also gives you a kind of a peace within and a security. But that shows that you people have real patience, and you want to know the truth. One has to know that truth is what it is. You can not have a concept about truth. Truth is reality which is beyond human concept and is beyond human endeavour. It exists and manifests itself once you become a subtler being. For example, this tree that we see, these trees, they have their roots. We have the knowledge of the tree. And we have no knowledge of our roots. So to know the knowledge of our roots we have to become subtler personality. The truth is absolute. There can not be two opinions about truth. As you can see, there’s a candle burning, everybody can see it, and know there’s a candle burning. There can not be two opinions about it. When we see that there are many opinions about God, about reality, about philosophies, we get confused. But to know the truth, we have to become a little higher personality than a human being. He tried to search the truth in various forms of happiness. And he discarded many a times because he found that happiness was not permanent.For a short time, he felt happy with something and he founds it also gave him great unhappiness. Like a lady, she had no child, so she used to weep and cry, and she had a child who late on dishonoured her. Then human beings started seeking happiness by enjoying the power, the power over other men, the power over other countries; that also they were not very much satisfied. Their children started feeling guilty about what their forefathers did. Then the movement started seeking something subtler was in the art and music. That also had limitations. It could not give that permanent joy to people. It is promised that one day we’ll all have to have this permanent joy. And then they started challenging all such people who had prophesised and who have been promising that such a day will come. So many reach the conclusion that there is nothing like joy. I have to do it very carefully because I know you are delicately placed, perhaps you do not know that your situation is precarious. In your naiveness, you have reached sometimes a place where you’ll just drop out. You have read a lot without knowing anything about what is the problem. It takes nothing to print a book in India. And these days, it is a very prosperous industry to print books. I’ve not printed any book of My own. Gregoire has written a very big book but that we don’t give it to people who are not yet Realized fully, because you have to be prepared, developed and mature to sustain the truth.
