Public Program National College Grounds, Bengaluru (India)
1996-0130 Public Program, Bengaluru, India I bow to all the seekers of Truth. At the very outsaid, you have to know that Truth is what it is. We cannot change it, we cannot transform it, we cannot describe it. You have to experience the Truth. What we know about Truth is through our limited mind which is in itself in a confusion. Mind is actually something artificial. The real is the brain. But mind is artificial. And when we start projecting our mind, everybody does it in their own way. And then there is a conflict, there is a fight. Some says this is correct, another says that is correct and one does not know which one is to follow and what to do. We have science before us. We thought science will solve our problems but we must know that science is a-moral. It has no morality within it and it has such limitations that we cannot know the fundamentals about ourselves. For example, we cannot say why are we on this Earth. The science cannot explain why are we on this Earth. What is the purpose of our life. There are so many things we can ask scientists and they cannot answer the questions. So, we take to religion and to books which are written about God Almighty. There also we find the people who are in charge of religion are extremely power oriented or money oriented. They are not spirit oriented. So whatever religion they have created Read More …
It is question of you feeling it yourself experiencing it yourself Bengaluru (India)
Public Program, 1994-0115, India At the very outset we have to know that truth is what it is, you cannot change it, you cannot transform it, you cannot describe it, unfortunately at this human [UNCLEAR] which is human awareness you cannot know it. [UNCLEAR] process [UNCLEAR] because if you have known the absolute truth there would have been no quarrels no fighting no [UNCLEAR] no arguments no war. But we don’t know [UNCLEAR] and absolute truth that only we know through the last breakthrough of our evolutionary process this you have to understand. Of course I was told in Bangalore people are very ritualistic and they believe in the rituals. All these rituals are for what, why are we [UNCLEAR] going to temples going to [UNCLEAR] going to mosque and you just see, there must be some purpose but it is like the steps of this hall but if you have to come in the hall you have to give up the steps now that’s enough and sufficient in you last lives that’s why you are here. Now a special time I will call it as a blossom time is this modern times which is “ghor kalayuga” agree… And at these modern times we see such a decline into everything and we are surprised how such a [UNCLEAR] has come. All our advancement so far has been either we are [UNCLEAR] call it something very blindly or else its just a mental [UNCLEAR]. Human mind has all variations and when these mental Read More …
Shri Shakti Mahakali Puja: I believe in Shri Mataji Bengaluru (India)
Shri Shakti Mahakali Puja. Bangalore (India), 9 December 1991. You all have come now to Bangalore, and yesterday you had gone to Mysore, which was ruled by Mahishasura. That’s the reason you didn’t get your food (Laughter) – it crossed you. It’s better not to eat food in such places, isn’t it? All right. So, it’s a very beautiful place Bangalore is. Climate is beautiful and you’ll find always these rakshasas lived in places like this. Like in Pune, you have, you know this Rajneesh was there – here is this Mahishasura still. They always try to find places which are cold because they have so much heat in their body. Now as you know, there’s one more rakshasa here who has to be exposed. And this, today through our puja, we should achieve. In the olden days, when the Goddess had to fight the rakshasas, the rakshasas were not involved in human beings as such. They didn’t become gurus or anything. And so, now we find in Kali Yuga, they have gone into the brains of sadhakas, of their devotees. It’s very difficult to remove them. And once they go into the brain of the sadhakas, then sadhakas become, of course, possessed, they suffer, they have all kinds of problems. Despite that, they stick onto that person because they are mesmerized, very much mesmerized. And this mesmerism makes them absolutely so strong headed that even if they have to die, they won’t give up their gurus. The main thing Read More …
Is this the end of our evolution? Bengaluru (India)
1991-12-09 Public Program, Bangalore, India I bow to all the seekers of truth. At the very outset one has to know that truth is what it is, we cannot conceptualize it, we cannot imagine about it, we cannot organize it, we cannot change it. The unfortunate thing is that we cannot know it at this human awareness. I came to Bangalore and people brought beautiful flowers to me, very beautiful flowers. We take all these flowers for granted, we don’t even think how one seed can give these big trees, can create this beautiful atmosphere, also how these trees and plants and bushes all of them how they grow up to a limited area, how individually they produce whatever they are supposed to produce. Look at our eye what a complicated thing this eye is, what a camera it is, how many things it does, we never even think how did we get this camera fixed here which is doing so many things. We just take everything for granted, and also i must say that science cannot tell you how, it can say it is, whatever they find honestly they say it is beyond that they cannot say how. Now we have to also think about one more thing that we have being human beings from amoeba stage to this stage we have come, but is this the absolute that we have reached? Is this the end of our evolution? If it was so there would have been no problems, we Read More …
Evening Program Classical Vina Recital Bengaluru (India)
Evening program, Classical Vina Recital, Bangalore (India), December 8, 1991 [Shri Mataji’s speech at 1:53:10] [Applause]We are all so very thankful to you for rendering such a meditative instrument like this holy vina. They know about vina and they know that this is one of the Adivaadyas [primordial instruments]. Also mridangam [percussions] is an Adivaadya and ghatam also is Adivaadya. I must congratulate the South Indian music style in which they have maintained those Adivaadya. But in the north India, these rhythmic instruments have taken another form like tabla. But mridangam has its own depth and its own feeding, especially for all devotional music, mridangam is used even in the north. Now this is ghatam, you have seen, it’s like a Kumbha. And as you know we call the Kumbha is where the Kundalini rests. And the Shiva is the one who plays the rhythm. He is the rhythm. He’s the creator of rhythm So, this combination is so beautiful! And see how simple is this instrument. Even look at vina. It is made from pumpkins and that is made from wood. Such a simple instrument and the depth of this culture! The depth of these great people, these artists, is bringing forth such highly evolved musical melodies, that in the West you cannot produce. I can tell you this way. Look at the rapport between these people complete rapport. There’s no need to tell him anything or to tell anything, nothing to know the notations, nothing. Just extra rapport. Read More …
Mother, please give me pure knowledge Bengaluru (India)
Public Program Day 2, Banglore, India, 13-02-1990 Now the truth is, you are not this body, you are not this mind, you are not these emotions. But you are the Spirit. And another truth is that all this Universe is guided, nourished, looked after, ultimately [UNCLEAR] by a very subtle energy which is called as paramchaitanya. In the Koran, it is called as “rooh”. In the Bible, it is called the Holy Ghost. This truth is [UNCLEAR] and you must understand it as a hypothesis. And you need not accept it. You have to keep yourself open. There should be no [UNCLEAR/bias about it]. No bias. Unless and until you feel the pulsation on your central nervous system, you are not to believe what I am saying. But that does not mean that you deny it. [UNCLEAR sentence/just to avoid]. In the same way, if you try to see for yourself, you will be amazed that you are the Spirit, and we are [UNCLEAR/part] of the all-pervading power of love and compassion. Yesterday [UNCLEAR sentence]. But today [UNCLEAR], I would like to tell you something about this power [UNCLEAR], connects us to the all-pervading power [UNCLEAR]. In the triangular bone, at the base of the spine, which is called the sacrum bone, is placed this power – which is called Kundalini. Kundalini means coil and it is placed there in three and a half coils. [UNCLEAR]. This power resides in the sacrum bone. Sacrum means sacred. That means the Greeks Read More …
Press Conference Bengaluru (India)
Press Conference Shri Mataji: (Addressing the room). There are lots of people who are seekers today. That’s how I have come back again. And the truth is, that we are the Spirit. Now in these modern times when people only talk of science, people cannot believe that there is something like the Spirit and that there can be all-pervading power, a subtle pervading power which does thinking for us, organizing for us and which also loves us. Some [UNCLEAR] think too much of it. [UNCLEAR] important so [UNCLEAR] equally important. But if you have a scientific attitude towards it, then it can be proved. If you take it as a hypothesis, then it can be proved that there is an all-pervading power, subtle power that exists. Because it is the rule of English, and then later on followed by the certain attitude of intellectuals, we should say, we have tried to sort of put some clouds on this truth which was there. But it exists. It is there. And, in Sahaja Yoga, we can prove the existence of this all-pervading power. That means you can feel it on your fingertips. This all-pervading power, you can feel it as a cool breeze on your fingertips. And when this power which we call as Kundalini rises, it pierces through six centres, subtle centres, and emerges out, of your fontanelle bone area, which we call it as “tat”. And that’s how you get your self-realization. Now we had saints in this country, so Read More …
Kundalini sucks in your karmas Bengaluru (India)
Public program Day 1, Bangalore, India 12-02-1990 At the very outset we have to know that truth is what it is. We cannot organize it, we cannot change it, we cannot order it, we live to accept it as it is. The Truth is that this whole universe is guided, organized by a very subtle power that [UNCLEAR] had to plan it that Param Chaitanya or as they call it as Ruh in Koran or as [UNCLEAR – COOL BREEZE?] in the Bible. In those days of Science, for a modern man is too much to accept that there could be something like a subtle energy which organizes Logically we can accept up to a point to understand so many things which have no answer in Science but beyond thought, beyond the intellect if we can reach into another great truth about ourselves – that is, if you become the Spirit, if you get your Atmasakshatkar, then, you can feel that subtle energy on your finger-tips, on your hands. Also, as a result of this power, the residual power of the Kundalini, which is like this cord, which rises, pierces through six centers, passes through your fontanel bone area you can also feel the cool breeze coming out of your own head. This is the ultimate goal of our human life. You know the Absolute Truth not relative. What we know, is the relative truth. Unless and until this happening takes place within us, whatever we know is so relative Read More …
