You see how Raulbai has love for Me, and in this place you all also got new idea of creating a beautiful thing. And as love will increase, your creativity will develop. So the basis of all creativity of Saraswati is love. If there is no love there is no creativity. It is even in the deeper sense, if you see; people who have created all the scientific things are also out of love to the masses, not for themselves. Nobody has produced anything for themselves. If they make something for themselves it has to become for universal use, otherwise it has no meaning. Even if you say atom-bomb and all these things are created from science, they are also very protective. If they had not created those, people would not have taken out their minds from war. Joy, Dhule, India 1980-01-28 …and their joy. So, no rapport can be established in the real sense with the Spirit, which is just a joy-giving quality. So thus the joy giving quality of the Spirit is so minimised, so much minimised, that intellectuals find it impossible to be joyous. You have to certify that, “Now be joyous!” you see. Even if you certify, even if the whole world certifies, that this is the way to be joyous, they will not accept. And they think [that], by accepting it, [it’s] as if they are giving up the heavens, they are giving up all their properties, they are giving up everything that they have! They’ll stick on to it to such an extent! I mean, if you have to learn swimming, and if you have to enjoy swimming, you have to give up that hold that you have on the outside ring. But you’ll hold on to the ring, and you will say, “No, this is the ring, I cannot give up!” So this kind of attitude of intellectuals kills their joy, and that’s why they cannot enjoy the joy. 1972-0409 Public Program A woman like Rajkunwar Raul is in Dhule, this is the great fortune of Dhule. I came here because of the charm of her love. I told her I would come to Dhule once. And I am becoming aware of how much devotion and love there is in this place. In our country, everyone has written a lot about religion since ancient times and there has been a lot of discussions. Even in temples, bells are ringing now, people also go to churches, go to mosques, a lot of work has been done in our country in the name of religion. But the real work doesn’t seem to have happened anywhere.
