Arrival, Welcome Meeting Boryspil International Airport, Boryspil (Ukraine)

Welcome Meeting, Borispol Airport, Kyiv, Ukraine, July 21, 1996 You have so many now Sahaja Yogis, ah? (The interpreter, “Yes, Shri Mataji. They are all Sahaja Yogis”) So many! (The interpreter, “Yes, Shri Mataji”.) I’m amazed to see so many Sahaja Yogis in Ukraine. That shows how people are sensitive to spirituality, that they are taking to it so easily. They have been waiting I think, seeking all these years and suddenly now they have found the way. I see your love and your compassionment, your sweetness. I just don’t know how to put it in words – what I feel. Tonight for the Program I hope you’ll be all there and I’ll tell you how to be with yourself and how to be with everybody else. We have to bring peace to this world. And you people can do it. And the way it is spreading here it has to spread all over the world. There are some very nice girls married from here – from Kyiv. And they have a very-very good reports about them. Also about the men who were married. They say that they are very deep, very great Sahaja Yogis. Specially in America they are very much adored (Shri Mataji laughs). And they can’t understand how Russians have been so great in spirituality. Spec(ially) about the Ukraine people also when I’ll tell them they’ll be amazed. They ask Me, “Why Russia and Ukraine, why?” I don’t know what to answer. You’ll have to tell Me Read More …

Arrival in Ukraine and Talk Boryspil International Airport, Boryspil (Ukraine)

Talk on arrival in Kyiv, Borispol Airport, Kyiv, Ukraine, Sept. 24, 1995 I really don’t know how to thank you for this surprise. [Applause]It’s very kind. All and your children have come down here. I have a very great concern for Ukraine. [Applause and laughter]While coming in the plane, I was looking at your beautiful land near the river Dnieper. Aside: It’s good now.And I felt such a good land you have here and I also know that once upon a time, this was a very rich country where the wheat and all this produce were supplied to whole of Europe. So I was asking about, “What has happened to this country? It was very reach country just before separation. So they said that this land is now doesn’t belong to anybody and the government does all the [unclear] and agriculture. In the- in My country also, we had same problem that land produce was very little, because few people were doing only for themselves. But then they formed cooperatives and gave the land to people for cooperatives and it was called as the ‘Green Revolution’. And thus our problem was solved, our problem of food, everything. So, if Sahaja Yogis can ask for no war anymore, so they can help their government to solve the problem. Because Ukrainian Sahaja Yogis are very deep and are very good people. We had one problem because of this Chernobyl problem. But it seems you people look very much now all right and Read More …

Arrival Talk Boryspil International Airport, Boryspil (Ukraine)

Speech at arrival in Boryspil airport, Kiev (Ukraine). 17. September 1994. I don’t know how to thank you all for such a welcome you have organized for Me.Actually on Moscow’s airport they were little non-cooperative, and I was worried because they said, “You can’t go to Kiev”. All of your prayers have worked and I am here with you. There are so many who have come with Me, and everybody is so anxious to meet you here. They have had a big conference of the scientists. There were 2,000 scientists and about 10,000 people, and they were convinced that morality is very important for medicine. Without morality people cannot keep good health. They contaminate diseases. And I was surprised, this is only possible in your country – either Russia or Kiev – where people have such enlightened mind. No one can think of such a thing in other countries. You people are very advanced in your wisdom. Also you are very deep in understanding spirituality – how important it is. I don’t know when will I learn Russian, it’s quite a difficult language. If I had come in My young age I would have learnt it, but I didn’t come that time. And I find that even if I don’t understand the language – I understand your heart. Some Indians had come and they said, “These people have a very, very large heart. We cannot be compared with them.” Even the English, the Germans, Austrians – all of them feel that about you. So, now we have a Diwali Puja in Istanbul, and it is Read More …
