Sahasrara puja, “Attain that Sahaja state”,  Cabella Ligure (Italy), 07 May 2000. Thirty years back, when Sahasrara was opened, I found darkness all over. People were so ignorant. They had no awareness [about] what they have to find. Of course, I found they wanted to find something that was unknown, but they did not know what was unknown, what they have to find. And they were extremely ignorant people, about themselves, and about their surroundings, and about the aim of their life. I didn’t know how to start the topic with them. When the Sahasrara was opened, I thought of trying Self-realisation only on one lady: she was an old lady. And there was another lady who also started to come up. This old lady got her Realisation, and then the another lady who was much younger told me that she gets fits and she gets possessed. “Oh my God!” I said, “how will I give her Realisation?” But somehow she got cured very fast and she also got her Realisation. It’s a very unknown knowledge. Also, human beings, in their ego, do not want to accept that they are not yet complete, that they have to have their Realisation. Also their style of life was such that they had no time for themselves. Today so many Sahaja yogis are here in Delhi. What can be a better birthday than this for a Mother? You all have achieved your self-realization, and this is your birthday as well. You all have been prepared for a great work, and this great work has never happened before. You all are the managers of this great work. What can be a greater source of happiness for me? I never imagined that in my lifetime I’ll get to see so many realized souls and I will get such tremendous joy. It’s the speciality of this atmosphere, in which you can see that today human beings are in delusion. On one side, when we look at the foreigner countries, we understand that they have gone astray. Morality has no meaning there. They think it’s very courageous to walk forward on the path of immorality and they are heading straight to Hell. “A New Jump Has To Be Taken”, Evening before Easter puja. Eastbourne (UK), 21 April 1990. Very nice to see you all here for Easter Puja. Very nice! Such a pleasure, such a joy. As if I feel, the resurrection working fast.  The year 1990 has come now, as a special year for all of us. Sahaj Yoga is going to spread very fast, no doubt; everywhere, all over the world, I know that. It has to spread. And also I told you that a new jump has to be taken by all the Sahaj Yogis. To explain it we’ll say that Sahaj Yoga is spreading in a horizontal manner, the plane is horizontal, and you are responsible for that work. You are working it out no doubt. Because of you it has spread. Some of you have gone all out to work it out, to spread it to villages, to surrounding places, different countries. Also the events, world events, have helped us a lot and Sahaj Yoga has worked in a very big way. Maybe it will be difficult for us to really balance it out.  But when we move horizontally we must also know that we have to move vertically. Otherwise, what will happen is that we’ll lose in quality. Quantity may be quite a lot but we’ll lack in quality. 1989-08-20 Moscow Public Program  I can see in this country and in any western country. the world has gone very far in the material development. And Lenin also had believed that when we will have material {inaudible} we will be satisfied with the matter. Then we will have a stateless state. and that’s what happened to you people you are very satisfied people in a way and very peaceful also you have balanced your life very well and you are leading quite a balanced life. And also your government very nicely has given you a balance by now say removing things like alcohol and all those things which can cause problems. It is very very wise government I should say that way that it has disciplined you like small children. but now when you will start gradually getting your freedom how will you ever to keep the balance it’s the point. moreover one start thinking that we have everything now but still there is no joy in our life. As in the West, I asked many people why do you take drugs why do you divorce why do you take to so much of alcoholism and they said we get bored with life we get fed up with life we don’t feel any interest anymore like in a country like Switzerland and Norway which are very very rich countries people are just committing suicide. so one must see what the reason. We are all seeking, public programme, Caxton Hall, London, 20 March 1978. Gregoire has said so many things that I really don’t know what to say after that. Really dumbfounded. I know it’s a fact and you have to face it, though I’m bashful about it. You were all seeking, and I think from the time I remember I haven’t met anyone who was not seeking. They may be seeking in money, in power. But so many of them were really seeking something beyond. In the West, I always felt all the great sages of the old and the ancient times who were seeking God, are born. I could see, the way you have  abhorred materialism; the way you have achieved a kind of a understanding about life… is new thing. At the time of Christ it was not possible to see such people except for some lepers and some sickly people. There was nobody else who was willing to look at Him. Times have changed no doubt. But, in this seeking, many people have committed lots of mistakes. Mistakes can be forgiven always. They should be rectified. I’ve been born with this. I knew I had to do this and I knew I had to be in London one day.
