Mahashivaratri Puja New Delhi (India)

Mahashivaratri Puja (Hindi/English). Delhi (India), 9 February 1991. ENGLISH PART BEGINS FROM TIMESTAMP: 00:50:12 Today’s lecture was quite big for all of you who are here, I’m happy that you could all come down for the Shiva Puja and now as they have requested in Europe, also we are going to have a Shiva Puja on the 17th I think in Rome. They have never had a Shiva Puja in the West. And that’s why I have decided that we’ll have two pujas, though it is quite a difficult thing to have Shiva’s puja in such close proximity. Today I have told them how we have got four channels in our heart where Shiva resides, and how we have to introspect ourselves and control our attention, because in Sahaja Yoga there is all freedom to be the way you are, nothing must be sacrificed or to be given up as they were told before, to go to the Himalayas, take out all your clothes and shiver there in the cold and all sorts of things. The body, importance of the body has to be reduced. and for that you have to put your attention inward and try to find joy in everything. To put your attention inside is very easy because you are meditative. Supposing you are going by bullock cart. If a man is used to Rolls Royce he will be all the time complaining what is this nonsense, why I have to go by a bullock cart, horrible, this that…But a child Read More …

Mahashivratri Puja New Delhi (India)

1989-03-06 Shri Shiva Puja Delhi (only 12 minutes – translated from Hindi) First of all, the thing that was created in this universe was Shri Ganesha. But even before Him and also before Adi Shakti, the essence that was present, we can call it as Sadashiva Tattwa – Sadashiva. The power that emerged out of Sadashiva Tattwa was what we call as Adi Shakti. So He is the first thing to exist in this universe, still exists and shall eternally exist. It may be in a dormant state in the beginning…. No creation takes place when it is in its dormant state. But at that time of its awakened state, all kinds of creations take place and then all incarnations come and all types of works are done. Thereafter it goes into the state of sleeping, which we call dormant. So before sleeping into the dormant state, we must step into that awakened state that is the Shiv Tattwa. It is a blessing for an Indian to understand the Shiv Tattwa. Of course, it is different for the people living in India, either Indian or the foreigners, or the foreigners outside who are influenced by the western culture. But most of the simple people living in India believe that this non-destructive power is nothing but our Shiv Tattwa and the rest of it is destructive. Everything is destructive and the temptation to run after these destructive things is not wise. Destructive things are there where they need to be and Read More …

Evening Program, Eve Of Shri Hamsa Swamini Puja Grafenaschau (Germany)

Evening Program, Eve Of Shri Hamsa Swamini Puja After this grand manifestation of beautiful notes into such a beautiful woven melody, with all the permutations and combinations that are possible. It’s hard to say anything any more about it. I didn’t know that such a great artist was there, I never heard him before. It’s My luck today that I’ve been able to hear him and such a great artist on table. It’s thanks to you that I could hear all this, they never get a chance to listen to such divine music. It’s so beautiful and the ripples after ripples you could see how it was moving. I’m sorry I had to stop you from clapping, because that would have disturbed the ripples a little bit, I thought. But still it is to be understood that, Indian music comes from the source which we call as OM. It’s a divine source and all made congenial to the tuning of the Spirit. Because of that, you all are feeling that joy within yourself. This joy that is created within yourself, maybe, that many musicians may not feel it. If they haven’t felt their Spirit. It’s for the saints to listen to this music. And for this great artists, I am creating saints here, that they should appreciate this great music of India. Moreover, I don’t know how many of you have visited Kashmir, but the valleys of Kashmir, and the river Ganges flowing in it, as if, such a combination Read More …

Talk and Evening Program: Shehnai Concert by Bismillah Khan, Eve of Shri Krishna Puja Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France)

Talk to Sahaja Yogis the day before Shri Krishna Puja. It’s very nice to see you all here assembled in such happy mood and the nature is also very happy with you.I’ve tried to learn French but I think it’s a very difficult language. When I came first to France they told me, Mother you should never say that you are a happy joyous person. I think I practised to myself — Now the idea was that, in France people believed that the whole world is full of misery, we are all sinners and we should all suffer and we should be all miserable, so everything that wasgrey and very gloomy was regarded as the highest art, I did not know what to do because I enjoy, what am I to do. They said because they’d think that you are ignoramus, you don’t know what is going on in this world, that’s why you are joyous. But I said I know everything, so I started addressing them with “Les Miserable” and today I say the joyous, you are the joyous people here sitting down in France, because you have found out the truth and that is the source of joy. We are here to celebrate the birthday of Sri Krishna tomorrow and is the most suitable thing to celebrate his birthday in France. Because he came on this earth to establish the fact that truth is joy, when he came on this earth, at that time there were people who believed Read More …
