For becoming masters in Sahaja Yoga I am sure you are doing meditation, introspection and all kinds of Sahaja Yoga rituals, I should say. In this New Year, I’ll think there is greater chance for you to do much better, because all those years of ordeals are over. (Applause) We are now entering into the New Era. I say now the Satya Yuga is established. (Applause) In the beginning you may not feel the atmosphere of Kali Yuga being cleared out completely. The whole thing, as you can see very clearly, is done by villagers and in a very simple way and I’m sure you must all be enjoying it very much. [Applause] Today, being the first puja in Maharashtra, we’ll have to do Ganesha Puja. But one has to understand how it is so important in Maharashtra that people worship Ganesha. As you know, there are Ashtavinayakas, eight Ganeshas are there around this area and this triangle of Maharashtra which has got on one side one big mountain, on the other side we have another mountain which, of course, is not in Maharashtra. And also, on top, we have another mountain. So like a triangle which is made like a Mooladhara, means the Kundalini itself. So, the Kundalini of the whole world resides in this area. There are many reasons but the main reason I feel is the yearning for your immense love is why we decided to make Pune city our home. On the whole, getting the land and getting the work done here is certainly a special event. But the main reason is that Pune has a mould of immense virtue, abundance of good deeds and also has a mould of virtue. It is no longer a birthday after the age of sixty years, but but one should remember that the life is getting shorter day by day and hence the progress (in Sahaja Yoga) should also be correspondingly faster. It is a matter of joy that you have celebrated my birthday with so much enthusiasm. There was so much enthusiasiasm and love. I was overjoyed.Sahaja Yogis have to work (for Sahaja yoga) while leading the worldly lives. They have to look after their children, households, and parents while practicing Sahaja Yoga. I also do the same. I also take care of the world (as a family) while looking after my family, my brothers and sisters, all the relations and my husband. No one should be left aside. When Krishna had a cousin, whose name was Neminath. And he was one of the tirthankaras (ford-maker) of the Jains. But these people used to eat meat. Meat was not regarded as violence or anything. And what happened, that, at this time, they attacked him [the attack came] through this Neminath because he saw many chickens being killed, cattle being killed, and he felt that mentally, he felt compassion, mental compassion for them. And he said, “We should have just ordinary food like carbohydrates”. And then, he told them, “Better have [only] carbohydrates, don’t eat any meat and things”. So, all this mental compassion started from his cousin, that was the first one. But as a result of that, they denounced Shri Krishna because Krishna has some ‘Sanhaar shakti’. And it is said that Sun travels with his seven forces, or say, seven colours in a big chariot. Till date nobody suggested me to speak on the subject of worship but it is so important. Especially in this land of Yoga (Yogabhumi), in our land of Bharat (India), especially in this holy land of Maharashtra, the Goddess of nature has come up with the creation of Ashtavinayakas, so what is the greatness of Ganesha, what is the importance of Ashtavinayakas etc is not known to many people. I am very surprised at this. Perhaps the people who understood everything, who knew everything – those great ascetics and saints of our holy land – they must not have been given the liberty to express, or may be nobody listened to them. Similarly Mr. Dhumal from Rahuri who was giving lecture before us, he has also created a revolution in the villages. There are quite a few Sahaja Yogis who have come along with him from Rahuri. And each one of them is a beautiful Sahaja yogi, chiseled like a diamond.  To understand how knowledgeable they are and how deep their knowledge of the Divine principle is, one must have discussion with them.  Sahaja Yoga means Sahaja, ‘Saha’  means with us and ‘Ja’ means born with. Sahaja Yoga is Maha Yoga (great Yoga). It is born with us.  Just position your hands like this. If you wish to activate Kundalini, then keep your hands like this. Simple. Remove your caps. Also remove black threads if you are wearing them. If you are wearing religious beads in the neck, better to remove them because it obstructs, Kundalini stop there. From time immemorial, people have said that Kundalini   is an institution within us. This has been especially elaborated by Adi Shankaracharya and Markandeya Swami. 1979-02-25  Sahajyogyanshi Hitguj, Pune India Now as All Sahaja Yogis have assembled here, therefore it is a ‘hitguja’ and not a speech. The word ‘hitguja’ in Marathi language is so beautiful as it means whatever is beneficial for you or your atma is to be shared. And as it used to be said in early days ‘Satyam Vadet Priyam Vadet’ (Speak truth, speak what is liked). How to blend these two? If you speak the truth it is not liked and if you wish to speak what is liked, it may not necessarily be true. If you want to blend these, it is a difficult task. Lord Shri Krishna found a solution to this and said, “Satyam Vadet, Hitam Vadet and Priyam Vadet” means that which is beneficial for the atma, ‘Hita’ means atma’s contentment. Even if it is unpleasant, at the end it becomes pleasant and it is the truth. Imagine if tomorrow someone comes to Mr. Rajwade and he asks if some specific person is hiding here (taken refuge)? And if the person is wielding a dagger in his hand what should Mr Rajwade tell him? ‘that he is hiding is the truth’. Should he tell that the person is hiding here? I feel so happy to come here that I cannot truly express in words.  I know that Sahaja Yoga will reach the rural areas in a really good way.  Because people who live in the cities, think they are very intelligent. One because mostly they are learned people without wisdom (pseudo-educated). If they are not pseudo educated then on the basis of money and power they consider themselves special. They think that they only have created this whole world. Even the sky is also created by them and they consider themselves God and that there is no such thing called God in this world. That means for entrancement (Samadhi) whatever people have done till now, hard work etc.etc. yoga , hat yoga, raja yoga whatever they have done , means among them some true and some false, all this together, whatever those people have done or achieved, is like Dravidi Paranayam or even more cumbersome that that. To correct this it will need a thick compendium. For example the book on Patanjali Yoga shastra (scripture) is itself so large. Of course it is one of them. There are many other old scriptures(shastras) written to guide people how to achieve spirituality and how to grow spiritually and  attain heights. There are quite a few ancient sacred writings (puranas) that have been written. But among them some are true and some are false, some are scams and some simply stupidity.
