The knowledge about Kundalini has been expressed in many Sanskrit Shastras since long and also in Ayurveda it is described, not only that but the books which are for curriculum talk about Kundalini and the chakras, because Ayurveda is very, very close to Sahaja Yoga. Even in the western medicine to begin with, you should see the history they took to -dealt with three doshas. They dealt with three problems that we have as in Ayurveda. Then they were carried from here and put in a temple called Chapar, the place where I saw that also. And there we have Hanumanas. Eleven Hanumanas came out of the Mother Earth to say that he was the incarnation of Hanumana. Also at Chapar, there was a Hanuman like that. And then people wanted to build a temple, very rich man from Bombay, Mafatlal & Company, they wanted to turn the face of Hanumana according to the architect’s idea. So, they went on digging, digging, digging, went about they say so one thousand feet, I don’t know, it must be a big effort. But they could not find the end of that stone. Puja by the Krishna’s river, Brahmapuri (India) 1986-12-27 [English Transcript] This is a special month in India and it is nice that we are organizing this program during this month. It is called as the Margashirsha, means where Marga means the road and Shirsha is the head, which leads (sounds like) you to the, to the epitome. That is the month and in this month they worship Guru because of his birthday Dattatreya and also they worship Mahalakshmi. That means this is the month of Sushumna, where the people get out of the bondages of smaller hankerings and enter into a new path of seeking of spirituality that is Sushumna that is Mahalakshmi. Also on this, there are lots of, (eh) pujas they do for four Thursdays, the puja of Mahalakshmi because Mahalakshmi is worshipped on a Thursday as it is the essence of the Guru principle. The Gurus have to satisfy the Mahalakshmi principle, which is just pure seeking of God, or what do you call the pure desire (“Shuddha Ichcha”). Today is a Saturday as I enquired and the puja was done in Poona (“Pune”) was also (Shri Mataji is enquiring with someone in Marathi – “it happened on Friday or day before on Thursday?”) on Thursday. And what have they achieved is now the end of it, and now they want to know the knowledge of the roots. You know their father in law lives in [unclear] and he has been working very hard, but Mr and Mrs [Kingaray] they came here all the way to arrange this program for you. And what they told Me was very remarkable that exactly 25 years back on the Christmas Day they were married in Angapor here, and they were very much amazed and blessed that I am here on that day. After 25 ypatars it was a very big thing for us 25 years married and they brought some sweets for Me, saying that this had happened. I was very happy to know that. January the 28th, 1985. … And the enjoyment, you see, you cannot enjoy life if you become very right-sided or very left-sided and the women who are supposed to be women become right-sided. Now how can they be jealous? Supposing the eyes become the nose, what will happen? [Laughter] That’s the problem the confusion. ‘Rajasik’ [right-sided], you see. The people who are ‘rajasik’ are the people who are futuristic, I should say, are the right-sided people.As Krishna has said, in his Gita, that they have no sense of right and wrong: to them, right is right and wrong is also right.
