Firstly, the first gentleman who was here – Jagganath Mishra – I must say, he brought all the atmosphere of Indian sweet culture in the villages very beautifully. For example, I’ve seen that only in India, poets have described the mischief of the children, the walking of the children – their gait, their style, their…every little bit of it. And She said that Sahaja Yoga is considered, if you do not think it is possible, why don’t you do some research? And that was the beginning in 1984 of doing some research on Sahaja Yoga. I was a professor at that time. I asked one of my students to take this subject and he started doing it. And the first thing that came to my mind, that if I ask somebody to do this Yoga, then I must be very clear as to what are the advantages of this Yoga on his body. Translation from Hindi Today we are going to do the Puja of Shri Shiva.  The form of Shiva within us, is verily the reflection of Sadashiva Himself.  This form of Shiva resides in the Heart, at all times, as the Spirit.  Is there, established, immovable and permanent.  But I will not say it is enlightened.  When the Kundalini is awakened, it touches the Spirit, and then the Shiva gets enlightened within us. I have been a great admirer of Mr. Seshan. I saw a new rising sun, hope for Me. As you know My past that My father, My mother, sacrificed everything to get freedom in this country. Also, as you know about My life how I worked very hard as a young girl.But when we got our freedom I don’t know what happened to us. We forgot many things. One of them was Gandhiji, with whom I have lived as a little child, who loved Me very much; and he said, “Let our country be free. First let our country be free. People who are slaves cannot talk of emancipation.” We became free quite all right, but then – I don’t understand how – people did not realize their responsibility. Some of them who were very sincere thought it’s impossible to work out anything in this country. Then, to My surprise, I saw Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, who was a realized soul. There should not be any politics in Sahaja Yoga. The society is in a vice like political grip. Sahaja Yogis get affected by this situation. An immature Sahaja Yogi may say something to another Sahaja Yogi in the influence of his conditioning. That can affect the other Sahaja Yogi and he may in turn say this to someone else. This may give rise to a wave that can spread like the flu. This is a disease (politics) and it spreads far and wide.
