The most important thing in all our bodies, minds, intellects, egos, and everything else is the soul, and everything else depends on it externally. In the soul, we see the reflection of our Father, the Lord. Yesterday, I told you about the soul. That same soul is of the form of Shiva. Shiva signifies that which does not change, that which does not manifest that which remains fully integrated in its own place, which is described as immovable, unbroken, infinite. Today, we are worshiping that Shiva within ourselves. He is reflected within us. Through the awakening of Kundalini, we have come to know Him, and the more His light shines, the more illuminated our consciousness becomes. But it is very necessary to pay attention to this Shiva. To be completely open towards Shiva, to be fully taken in His direction. It is essential for us to understand what preparation is required for Him. ATMA – DAY 5 DELHI 16.2.1985 I bow to all the  seekers of truth.   Today’s melodious music program is very much associated with today’s topic for which I thank Debu Choudhury.  All the arrangements happen spontaneously and in today’s music the play of 12 sounds you witnessed, that same beautiful music can be created inside us.  The eight chakras of Kundalini you are seeing here, which is Mooladhara  Chakra, Mooladhara, Swadishthan, Nabhi, Heart, Vishuddhi, Agnya and Sahasrara.  Apart from this, there are Sun and Moon  Chakras also inside us.  Like this there are three more chakras which start working after the piercing of fontanelle bone area, which we call Ardha Bindu, Bindu and Valay.  All these are vowels (sounds) inside us.  Like if we start from Sa, then seven vowels, Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni, Ni ends in Sahasrara.  Like this, there are planets also which give energy to these chakras.  For example, in Mooladhara  Mars, Swadishthan Mercury, in Nabhi Jupiter, in Heart Chakra Venus, in Vishuddhi Saturn, in Agnya Sun and in Sahasrara Moon (Monday), which is Shiva’s or Devi’s,  Adishakti’s abode.  Like this, our nine planets also reside in these chakras.  It means whatever OMKAR is manifested from Shri Ganesh, all these  integrate completely in one Sound and one rhythm for music which God has created inside us.  To penetrate this only Kundalini starts working.  When Kundalini starts rising and penetrates all these chakras and reaches the Fontanelle bone area,  from its ascent, lot of Read More …

I wish you all happy Holi.This is a wonderful festival started by Shri Krishna long time back.After the advent of Rama, who was a very serious gentleman and who believed in a very sacrificing life of a benevolent king, when all these things were so much prevalent in the air that one has to be a benevolent person, one has to be charitable, one has to be sac-rificing, one has to be serious and like the king – the whole atmosphere of the society was very serious atmosphere. Anything extreme if we do, we go to the wrong side as you know. So the whole society became a very serious society. In that seriousness it started taking to lot of ritualism. And the rituals of the time that were very absurd and funny. Like you shouldn’t eat this food, you shouldn’t touch this water, somebody should not touch you, you must take your bath, and in that wet clothes you must cook. All sorts of absurd things they started of as the – what you call the dharma – they thought this was the dharma, the ritualism of the worst type started. In the first song, a devotee calls out to God in separation. This is called inferior devotion, and when one finds God, as Kabir did, it is called superior devotion. Both are forms of devotion. Krishna called it ‘Ananya Bhakti’ – where there is no one else, where the Supreme God is present directly in front of oneself, at that time, what our devotion looks like to us, they called it superior devotion – Ananya Bhakti. But what I am going to tell you today is little about the relationship of parents with their children and how it is supposed to be. First of all , we develop two kind of relationship with our children, in that one is emotional and the other is responsibility . Emotions and responsibility remain two different things. Suppose there is one mother, and her child learns or does something wrong, still because of emotions she says, ” all right let him do it, nowadays all children are like this, what to say to child, everything is fine”. Another Mother is there who wants to make her children dutiful and responsible. For that she says to her children to get up early in the morning, be active, study hard, go to school in time, sit here, sit there, wear the clothes properly etc.. and she is always behind her child to correct him. It is also a gift of God that at this time the thing about which I was going to speak, sitting under the same trees, the talk of Sahasrara is taking place. Fourteen years ago or we could say already thirteen years have passed and now the fourteenth year has started this great work of opening the Sahasrara was accomplished in this world. I have told you about this many a times, on every Sahasrara day, as to what had happened, how it was done and what is its importance. But the fourteenth birthday is very important, because man lives at fourteen levels and the day he crosses over the fourteenth level, he becomes a complete Sahaja Yogi. Even if he is running after any material thing, he is seeking God only the path is incorrect. If he is working for fame and material wellbeing, he is still looking for God.  When he becomes some powerful person and moves around in the world, even then, he is looking for God but his route is wrong. When a man pursues material things like money, property, one finds he is not happy. Excess money leads to bad habits, children are spoilt, etc bad things follow. Then man thinks why have I earned this wealth? For whom these materials were collected? When he will leave this world, he will go empty-handed. However, when you achieve God and your attention stabilizes then these material things take beautiful form. Our head is like a coconut. The coconut has the hair, and then a hard nut and then a black covering and inside is white shell of coconut and inside is the space, the water. In the same way, our brain is made. That’s why coconut is called as shriphala, is the fruit of the power that is Shri. Shri Power is the right-side power and the left-side power is the Lalita Power. So, we have two chakras – left side, here, is the Lalita and right side, here, is the Shri Chakra. She has explained the meaning of ‘what is Swajan’ “All the members of ‘Swajan’ and its organizers, as well as all the self-realized yogis, my greetings to you all! As mentioned, the term ‘Swajan’ signifies a profound concept. The name ‘Swajan’ which we have given to this organization, behind it, there was some mind of mine, which is called Mahamaya. Understanding the word ‘Swajan’ is important. What does ‘Sw’ mean? ‘Sw’ means the soul, those who have found their soul are true ‘Swajan’. At that time, perhaps someone didn’t think why this name was specifically chosen, and why it was said that only those who have found their soul are Swajan, because they too have found the soul. ‘Sw’ has been found. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Talk about Tattva (Principle)  Delhi University 15th February, 1981 Delhi Yesterday, I told you that today I will tell you about the tattva (principle). If we look at a tree and if we see the growth in the tree, then we realize that there is some or the other power flowing inside it, due to which the tree is growing and will attain its full growth. It has this power within, otherwise this growth cannot take place.  But from where does the tree get this power? What is the meaning of it’s tattva? Whatever is visible outside, like the tree is visible, like it’s fruits, flowers, leaves are all visible. This is not a tattva. It’s not based on any tattva. There is something more subtle than this. We are not able to see that subtle. If it was in a shape, it would have been visible. But it’s in a formless state, meaning that the water flowing inside it, although it bears the power, it alone is not it’s tattva. Water is carrying that power but if water is everything, then why doesn’t a tree grow, if water is put on a stone? Then in tattva one must know that everything has its own tattva. Water has its own tattva. Trees have their own tattva and stones also have their own tattva. “The time of Mahayuga has come. Thanks to this thousands of people are getting their Self-realisation. At the beginning, only one or two flowers blossomed on this tree of life, but in this Mahayuga, spring has come. All this is a question of time.  This yuga was predicted by many great people. Recently, I saw the book “Milton” written by William Blake. He was a great philosopher and it’s so surprising how he predicted the foundations of Sahaja Yoga at Surrey Hills and the first Sahaja centre at Lambeth. He also wrote that with a special power, ordinary people will become prophets. Had to work really hard in Bombay; had to work the most, here. People often ask me, “Mother, why do you need to work so much in Bombay?” Initially, I stayed here, and, then I felt that there is so much work that can be done in Bombay. However, some shadows are cast over Bombay. Now in Delhi, even less work amounts to a lot more. Lot of work has been done in villages too. Undoubtedly, thousands have got their realization. A lot of work has been done, even in a city like London. But, people of Bombay have an ominous shadow cast upon them. I think they are too indulged in materialism. Strangely, we have worked the most in Bombay and yet have the least number of Sahaja Yogis here. Can’t find a reason for this. Until Yoga [union] happens, the divine has no business with you. First, you should experience Yoga i.e. union with Almighty, Atma [Spirit] should awaken within you. When the Spirit is awakened within you, then you enter into the domain of Almighty in reality. Otherwise, just like a crammer [who keeps mugging things], everything remains superficial. Until you know your inner Self, until you have recognition of Self, you do not enter the domain of Almighty. That’s why you are not authorised to get what Almighty has said.
